St. Faustina Divine Mercy Leather Bookmark

This leather bookmark is black for St. Faustina’s habit. It reads “St. Faustina, pray for us!”. To one side of the text, a ray of red and a ray of white flow from the pierced side of Jesus. It is simple but durable, so this bookmark was made to last! Be sure to check out all the gifts in my St. Faustina collection!

Length: 5.75”
Width: 1”

Inspiration: Jesus gave a great gift to the world by expressing His message and image of Divine Mercy to St. Faustina. This design makes use of red and white rays to symbolize the blood and water that flowed from Christ’s side, just like in the Divine Mercy image. The black of the keychain reminds us of St. Faustina’s habit. It speaks of her humility and surrender that her story focuses so heavily on Jesus’s Mercy, pointing not to herself but directly to Him.

Plan ahead! Divine Mercy Sunday is the weekend after Easter and the feast of St. Faustina is October 5th.

About the process: This bookmark is made of veg tan leather (a true leather). I laser cut, hand dye and/or paint, and finish all bookmarks by hand in Central Texas. The back is untreated raw leather.
