Revised to match the content in The Catholic All Year Prayer Companion.

This order from the Book of Blessings is a solemn commemoration of the departed whose bodies lie in a cemetery. It can be used by a parish community or by individuals when they visit the grave of a relative or friend, immediately following Mass or apart from Mass. This order may be led by a priest, deacon, or a lay person. It’s appropriate for children and adults, and is used on Memorial/Remembrance Day, All Souls’ Day or any of the eight days of the All Souls’ Indulgence, on the anniversary of a death or burial, or when installing a gravestone or monument.

These prayers are also available as a part of the Catholic All November Booklet printable.

And as part of the November Booklet Bundle here.

But in case you prefer it on its own to print for the family, here it is.

An extended license for group use is available here.

Your purchases in the Catholic All Year shop support the production of the Catholic All Year Liturgical Living Video Series, so thank you!

You get an 8 page pdf file, that can be printed as individual pages, but I recommend opening the pdf in Adobe (there is a free version available for download here) and printing it as a booklet on 2 pieces of paper. For best results print on high quality paper (like 24 weight). Lighter weight paper will work, but there will be more show through from the back.

Your purchase entitles you to print this booklet as many times as you’d like for your own household’s personal use. Please do not share the digital files or print the booklet for others. Thank you! For an extended license, that allows printing the items from one listing for classrooms, groups, or extended family, please see this listing.
