In this booklet, you’ll find all the Bible passages, prayers, songs, and devotions that our family uses throughout the month of March and for the first five weeks of Lent (everything until Holy Week) to enhance our family prayer life and our liturgical living in the home. All the Catholic All Year monthly prayer booklets are designed to be used year after year, and this booklet can be used any year, no matter when Lent falls.

I created this booklet to keep from having to wade through all the different versions of prayers available online, and because I really prefer paper over screens when I’m praying. For all the history, tradition, and backstories surrounding these prayers, blessings, and devotions and the feast days to which they are attached, please consult the Catholic All Year Compendium.

The entire month of March is dedicated to Saint Joseph, and the booklet includes weeks 5-7 of the Seven Sundays of St. Joseph, a short St. Joseph prayer that can be used after Grace before meals, and To You O Blessed Joseph.

You’ll get prayers, devotions, and Bible readings for other March saints, including an abridged version of The Passion of Ss. Perpetua and Felicity; the Kitchen Prayer in honor of St. Frances of Rome; an Irish Long Life Toast and St. Patrick’s Breastplate; the Eternal Rest Prayer and Mother Angelica’s Miscarriage Prayer in honor of St. Catherine of Sweden; and Luke 1:26-38, the Angelus, and Gabriel’s Message Hymn for the Annunciation.

You get a 44 page pdf file, that can be printed as individual pages, but I recommend opening the pdf in Adobe (there is a free version available for download here) and printing it as a booklet on 11 pieces of paper. For best results print on high quality paper (like 24 weight). Lighter weight paper will work, but there will be more show through from the back.
