Please see the updated version of this booklet here!
In this booklet, you’ll find all the Bible passages, prayers, songs, and devotions that our family uses throughout the month of July to enhance our family prayer life and our liturgical living in the home. All the Catholic All Year monthly prayer booklets are designed to be used year after year.
I created this booklet to keep from having to wade through all the different versions of prayers available online, and because I really prefer paper over screens when I’m praying. For all the history, tradition, and backstories surrounding these prayers, blessings, and devotions and the feast days to which they are attached, please consult the Catholic All Year Compendium.
The month of July is dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus. Before the reorganization of the liturgical calendar in 1969, a feast day in honor of the Most Precious Blood was observed on the first Sunday of July. Currently, this feast day is combined with the Feast of Corpus Christi, on the eighth Sunday after Easter, but the monthly devotion remains.
Included in this booklet, is the approved litany along with other prayers in honor of the Precious Blood, and an apostolic letter explaining the devotion. You’ll also find prayers, novenas, homilies, and hymns in honor of July saints: Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, Saint Mary Magdalene, Saint Bridget of Sweden, and Saints Joachim and Anne, grandparents of Jesus.
For the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, you’ll find the Litany of Loreto, and the prayers for enrollment in the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This enrollment can be performed by any priest, but a Carmelite would be especially happy to do it for you!
Available in a paperback version here on Amazon.
See the July Booklet Bundle here.
A booklet of just the Investiture with the Brown Scapular prayers is available here (along with a bonus printable keepsake), and the Saint Anne Novena is available here, in case you’d like to be able to print those separately. An extended license for group use is available here.
Your purchases in the Catholic All Year shop support the production of the Catholic All Year Liturgical Living Video Series, so thank you!

You get a 36 page pdf file, that can be printed as individual pages, but I recommend opening the pdf in Adobe (there is a free version available for download here) and printing it as a booklet on 9 pieces of paper. For best results print on high quality paper (like 24 weight). Lighter weight paper will work, but there will be more show through from the back.
Your purchase entitles you to print this booklet as many times as you’d like for your own household’s personal use. Please do not share the digital files or print the booklet for others. Thank you! For an extended license, that allows printing the items from one listing for classrooms, groups, or extended family, please see this listing.
The text of these traditional prayers are in the public domain. Newer prayers are cited where possible.
Many included prayers and devotions can be found at Catholic Culture, my favorite online resource for Catholic prayers, traditions, and devotions.
The daily collect prayer for feast days not featured in this booklet can be found online here.
