After putting together the monthly liturgical living prayer booklets, I realized that, while they cover the prayers our family uses to observe feast days and the seasons of the liturgical year, they don’t include the prayers and devotions we try to include in our daily or weekly family prayer routines. So, I decided to create the Catholic All Day booklet.

This booklet of prayers is intended to be a comprehensive collection of Catholic prayers you might wish to use on any given day, but NOT with the expectation that you would use every prayer every day, or even that you would use every prayer ever!

Prayers are included that are traditionally used at different times of day. For instance, the Morning Offering, the noon Angelus, the 3pm Divine Mercy Chaplet, and night prayers. Also included are prayers for before and after Mass, meals, and work, and various prayers you might wish to offer for other people. You’ll find prayers for traditional devotions like a visit to the Blessed Sacrament, and the Rosary.

If you are just beginning to include regular prayer in your daily life, it’s best to start in a small and manageable way, with perhaps a Morning Offering and Grace Before Meals. Then, as you become more used to the habit, you can slowly add in new prayers and devotions, like a noon Angelus, a daily family Rosary, and an Examination of Conscience and Act of Contrition at night.

If you are able to add daily Mass, a Visit to the Blessed Sacrament, and/or the Sacrament of Confession to your weekly routine, you can use the included prayers here to help you prepare and focus.

You get a 56 page pdf file, that can be printed as individual pages, but I recommend opening the pdf in Adobe (there is a free version available for download here) and printing it as a booklet on 14 pieces of paper. For best results print on high quality paper (like 24 weight). Lighter weight paper will work, but there will be more show through from the back.
