Bless this Tech Sticker

This sticker is part of the October Liturgical Subscription Box.

He was born in 1991 to a wealthy non-religious Italian family. As a young child, he had a precocious interest in Catholic practices. He asked his mother to bring him to weekly confession and daily Mass, always spending time afterwards in thanksgiving before the tabernacle.

He loved playing soccer and video games, and eating Nutella and ice cream. He practiced temperance, voluntarily limiting himself to one hour of video games per week and scheduling his favorite treats. He defended bullied classmates, bought necessities for homeless people, picked up trash when he was out walking, and tried to tidy up his room before the family housekeeper could get to it.

In 2002, at the age of eleven, he used his computer skills to create a website dedicated to cataloguing every reported Eucharistic miracle in the world. Completed in 2005, it’s available online at www.miracolieucaristici.org. He died a year later, at the age of fifteen, from leukemia. He offered his suffering and death for the Church and the pope.

His mother credits Carlo’s holiness for her return to the Catholic faith, and for what she considers to be the miraculous birth of Carlo’s twin siblings, four years after his death, on what would have been his nineteenth birthday.

Liturgical living resources including printable saint and feast day summaries for the month (and my Bl. Carlo Nutella sundae recipe) are available with a Catholic All Year Membership.
