Advent Book Wraps
SET INCLUDES:
Twenty-four 12” x 15” flat kraft bags in three fun patterns. Bags are made of 100% recycled material in the USA.
Raffia bundle
Two sheets of adhesive kraft tags
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose 24 picture books, new or old, Christmas-, winter-, or saint’s day-themed or just family favorites. These can be new books or even books from the library. We usually just use books we already own. Insert one in each wrapping-paper bag, mixing up the patterns. Put saint stories on their feast day if available. Fold the sides (if necessary) and the top over and secure with the day’s tag. Cut a 3-foot length of raffia ribbon for each package (save the rest for the Straw for Baby Jesus Manger) and tie. Arrange the books in a stack or in a row on a table or shelf and open one each day of Advent. Read the book together as a family, then add the book to a shelf or basket for the season. Watch this book collection grow during Advent!
